About The Position

The Executive Director of the Assisted Living Center is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the facility, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards of care. This role involves managing staff, addressing resident concerns, adhering to budgetary guidelines, and implementing policies to support the center's mission as a quality health service provider.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Business or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years of supervisory experience required; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Assisted Living Center.
  • Monitor environmental quality and compliance with licensure regulations.
  • Oversee handling of major resident concerns and ensure management oversight 24/7.
  • Adhere to budgeted census and operating plans for purchasing practices.
  • Ensure timely sign-off for orders, payroll, new hires, and terminations.
  • Prepare requisitions, place orders, and monitor supply deliveries from approved vendors.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Assisted Living Center.
  • Ensure regular staff and service area meetings occur, including daily kick-off meetings.
  • Make daily rounds to ensure resident care needs are met and staff performance is monitored.
  • Execute operating plans and budgets in accordance with company guidelines and monitor performance against budget.
