About The Position

The Executive Director, Actuarial will play a pivotal role in understanding and driving action on Medicare Network Insights, curating support for this essential line of business. This position is entirely focused on Medicare, encompassing the delivery of our overarching Medicare network strategy, which includes target network development in new geographies and the creation of networks tailored to meet unique Medicare member needs. In this role, you will be instrumental in achieving profitability and membership goals in collaboration with business partners by contributing to and executing strategies. You will enable Network Market leaders to conduct Network Performance analysis at a market level, utilizing data cubes, the Health Care Information Center (HCIC), and overall provider performance metrics. Your participation in state-specific RFP conversations will be crucial, as will your ability to identify core issues and leverage your colleagues and network to resolve them. You will navigate various data points, even when they may seem contradictory, and rationalize a recommended course of action while recognizing associated risks and opportunities. This role requires a balance of confidence, open-mindedness, and modesty, as you form opinions based on logic and business sense, adjusting as new ideas emerge. Your divergent thinking will facilitate brainstorming and connecting multiple ideas, while your convergent thinking will ensure a recommended course of action is executed effectively. When faced with challenges, your perseverance will inspire your team to adapt and move forward. Building and facilitating a team environment of trust is essential, as is fostering collaboration and teamwork. You will influence resources both within and outside of your direct control to complete projects successfully.
