About The Position

Requirements

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Chair's calendar and prioritize requests for the Chair's time.
  • Draft and edit correspondence and original content on behalf of the Chair.
  • Monitor and prioritize the Chair's email and correspondence.
  • Design and implement administrative systems for the Chair's office operations.
  • Manage reimbursements and financial record-keeping for the Chair in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel for the Chair.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the Department, providing information and support to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Coordinate logistics for departmental events and meetings, including faculty lectures and final reviews.
  • Maintain office equipment and supplies, ensuring overall office organization.
  • Update departmental resource pages on the GSD website and manage content as a Content Editor.
