About The Position

The Executive Communications Manager role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is designed as a hybrid position, requiring an average of 2 days per week in the office. The successful candidate will support the Senior Vice President of HPE Operations and his leadership team in engaging with various stakeholders, including team members, partners, and external media. This position requires strong writing and narrative creation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience in communications, journalism, marketing, or a similar field.
  • Superior writing and editing skills.
  • Experience in narrative building for enterprise technology is a plus.
  • Ability to work directly with technologists and non-executive stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with methodologies to measure the results of communications initiatives.
  • Confidence with video and imagery, especially in coaching leaders through recordings.

Responsibilities

  • Researching and drafting internal and external communications.
  • Consulting with subject matter experts on narratives and thought leadership.
  • Recommending and developing external communications to extend the reach of internal initiatives.
  • Updating and developing new messaging and content for communications campaigns.
  • Developing sustained executive and team member communications strategies.
  • Aligning communication strategies across campaigns.
  • Implementing end-to-end integrated communications programs.
  • Managing change projects and supporting Operations leaders on individual deliverables.
