About The Position

The Executive Bus Driver transports passengers to and from designed locations including interstate trips, tours, and scheduled routes in a city or community. The Driver is responsible for the efficient and safe travel of passengers with adjustments for traffic and weather conditions to meet schedule expectations. Assignments can include overnight and extended assignments. The Driver is responsible for adhering to all customer and company policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to security, safety, Department of Transportation, and best practices. Pay Rate: $34.58/ hour

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent GED.
  • At least two (2) years of commercial experience professionally driving a coach/tour bus transporting passengers.
  • Demonstrate ability to work flexible hours, extended hours and overnight assignments.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
  • Mature judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required level security clearance.
  • Ability to pass a pre-hire background and drug screen.
  • Possess and maintain a valid CDL Class B with passenger and air brake endorsements with an acceptable driving record.
  • Possess and maintain a valid medical certification in good standing.
  • Must maintain membership with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and team lift 75 pounds.

  • Possess and maintain a current and valid Passport.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transports passengers and operates customer and company vehicles to perform duties, i.e. executive vehicles, shuttle buses and motor coaches up to 56 passenger buses.
  • Execute job functions with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality with a positive customer experience at the forefront of the assignment.
  • Perform daily and miscellaneous tasks associated with professional driving, i.e. fueling, washing, cleaning.
  • Use good judgment when working with minimal supervision. Align decisions with assignment mission, DOT standards, customer/company guidelines.
  • Perform assignments that include extended hours and overnight accommodations.
  • Adhere to all commercial department of transportation regulations.
  • Self-report personal and professional driving violations and infractions immediately.
  • Maintain the appropriate commercial driving license and associated medical certification in good standing. Report any concerns or interruptions.
  • Report all safety incidents and accidents per company procedures and follow direction provided.
  • Accurately record, per procedures, receipts, passengers, etc.
  • Perform inspections and maintenance per DOT regulations, customer/company procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Perform driver maintenance to include, but not limited to: Inspecting interior/exterior of vehicles for cleanliness prior to dispatch; cleaning interior/exterior of vehicles in accordance with established rules and regulations.
  • Adhere to general and specific uniform guidelines provided by customer and company. Some assignments may require a suit and tie.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
