About The Position

Executive Clinical Director / Medical Director Ocean Dental Group – California Ocean Dental Group is seeking an accomplished Executive Clinical Director / Medical Director to provide clinical and strategic leadership across our locations throughout California, including Los Angeles, Bakersfield, and Fresno area. This senior executive role is ideal for a highly experienced dental professional who combines exceptional clinical expertise with strong business and operational leadership. The successful candidate will oversee clinical excellence, guide multi-site operations, and partner with executive leadership to drive growth, quality, and innovation across the organization. Position Overview As Executive Clinical Director / Medical Director, you will be responsible for the overall clinical direction of the organization while collaborating closely with administrative and executive teams. This role ensures consistent, high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and adoption of modern dental technologies.

Requirements

  • DDS or DMD degree (or equivalent international dental degree)
  • Graduate-level education in Healthcare Management and Business Administration (MBA required)
  • Minimum 25 years of professional experience in dentistry
  • At least 5 years of senior-level leadership experience, preferably overseeing multi-site healthcare operations
  • Strong knowledge of dental operations, compliance, and clinical best practices
  • Proven strategic mindset with the ability to lead large healthcare organizations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
  • Native or professional-level fluency in English, Turkish

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and oversight to dentists and clinical staff across all locations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized clinical protocols and quality assurance programs
  • Ensure compliance with California dental regulations, industry standards, and best practices
  • Oversee clinical operations while collaborating with administrative leadership on business strategy
  • Analyze operational and clinical performance data to improve outcomes and efficiency
  • Conduct clinical audits, performance evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage and advise on complex clinical cases and patient care strategies
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional development
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and integrate innovative practices
  • Act as a liaison between clinical teams and executive leadership to align organizational goals
