Our rapid growth and breadth of accounts translates into exciting opportunities for our people!Job SummaryThe Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and leading scratch cooking for daily breakfast, lunch, and catering services in alignment with corporate programs, standards, and guidelines. This role manages a team of approximately 25 associates and operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00am to 3:30pm, including one week winter and summer shutdowns.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional culinary experience
  • Three to five years of progressive culinary leadership or kitchen management experience
  • Strong knowledge of scratch cooking, culinary and catering trends with an emphasis on quality, production, sanitation, cost control, and presentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet based systems

Nice To Haves

  • Catering experience preferred
  • Experience leading high volume, complex foodservice operations strongly preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute regular and modified menus for scratch prepared breakfast, lunch, and catering programs in accordance with established guidelines
  • Lead, train, and manage a culinary team of approximately 25 associates, ensuring consistent execution of food preparation, equipment use, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations for breakfast, lunch, and catering services while maintaining quality, presentation, and production standards
  • Establish and maintain cleaning, safety, and preventive maintenance schedules for all kitchen equipment, storage, and work areas
  • Manage food and non food inventory to support daily service and catering needs while controlling costs and adhering to budget guidelines
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations and internal safety and sanitation procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall foodservice operations
