Responsibilities

  • By creating a culture to serve and execute without boundaries, you attract, hire and retain the best possible talent
  • You understand that Food & Beverage needs can change at any moment, and you adapt with ease.
  • You oversee and manage all departmental expenses, including labor, to insure a return on investment for our owners.
  • Being hands-on and training your team is one of the most important pieces of your day-to-day.
  • Assist in the direction to operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare foods.
  • Delegate and assist with the duties to prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • Prepare cold foods.
  • Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food.
  • Give direction for the set-up and break down workstation.
  • Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
