About The Position

As the Executive Chef for OHI, you will lead culinary operations across healthcare facilities, ensuring exceptional patient meal service experience, retail café excellence, and catering services. This role combines hands-on culinary expertise with strategic leadership to drive quality, compliance, and innovation. You will oversee a team of culinary professionals, manage budgets, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of culinary/kitchen management experience in an executive chef or sous chef role.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts, hospitality, or related field.
  • Proven experience in high-volume, complex foodservice and catering operations.
  • Experience in commercial or healthcare foodservice environments required.
  • Hands-on chef experience with strong leadership skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends, quality standards, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
  • ServSafe certification required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Internet applications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
