Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Strong knowledge of current food and catering trends with emphasis on quality, production, sanitation, cost control, and presentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and internet-based systems

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive catering experience preferred
  • Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations strongly preferred
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute regular and modified menus in accordance with established guidelines
  • Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff on food preparation, equipment use, food safety, and sanitation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Establish and maintain cleaning and preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas
  • Manage food and non-food inventory to meet operational needs while staying within budget and usage guidelines
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations and internal sanitation procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
