About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a skilled Executive Chef to manage dining services in our long-term care facility. In this role, you will oversee staff, ensure food quality and safety standards, and assist the Account Manager with financial tracking. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; food service management/nutrition training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in food production, service, and staff supervision.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required per state/county laws.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and work for extended periods.
• Must relate professionally with healthcare facility executives and clinical staff.
• Must provide a criminal background check and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise dining services staff in the absence of the Account Manager.
• Provide guidance to ensure food quality standards, inventory levels, food safety, and customer service expectations are met.
• Assist the Account Manager in tracking income, expenses, food, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Train and in-service staff to meet HCSG standards.
• Conduct kitchen tours and quality assessments multiple times a day.
• Fill in for dietary aide, cook, or dishwasher as needed.
• Relay directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff effectively.
• Follow safety precautions when using cleaning solutions.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly and ensure infection control and sanitation policies are followed.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Complete assigned tasks on schedule and respond promptly to pages.
• Represent HCSG by following instructions, working courteously, and interacting tactfully with residents, staff, and facility guests.
