About The Position

Lola’s Taco Bar is a vibrant, high-energy taco concept focused on bold flavors, and a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. We celebrate quality ingredients, thoughtful execution, and a kitchen culture built on pride, consistency, and teamwork. We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Executive Chef to lead all kitchen operations at Lola’s Taco Bar. This role is responsible for culinary execution, team leadership, food quality, and cost control while maintaining a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in an energetic kitchen and takes ownership of both people and product.

Requirements

3–5+ years of experience in a Chef or Executive Chef role
High-volume kitchen experience preferred
Strong leadership, training, and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage food costs and labor effectively
Passion for bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and operational excellence
Reliable, hands-on, and calm under pressure

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all BOH operations, including prep, line execution, and service standards
Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff to ensure consistency and growth
Oversee menu execution while maintaining Lola’s flavor profiles and brand standards
Manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and waste control
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Collaborate with ownership and operations on menu updates, specials, and kitchen systems
Maintain a positive, accountable, and high-performing kitchen culture
