About The Position

An Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations. This role combines culinary expertise with strong leadership and business acumen. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits!

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in various kitchen positions, with a proven track record in culinary leadership.
  • Food safety certifications, such as ServSafe, are commonly required.
  • Strong ability to lead and motivate a team, manage conflicts, and make decisive decisions.
  • Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management in a kitchen setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Formal culinary education is often preferred, though not always required.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and updating menus that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences.
  • Hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation.
  • Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maintain profitability.
  • Ensuring all dishes meet the restaurant's standards for taste, presentation, and portion size.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
  • Working closely with restaurant management to align kitchen operations with overall business goals.
