About The Position

CCL Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Chef who is an inspirational and organized leader, dedicated to ensuring the overall success of daily kitchen operations. This role involves recruiting, training, and food preparation, showcasing culinary talents through the delivery of high-quality food. The Executive Chef will work to improve resident, employee, and client satisfaction while maximizing financial performance. Responsibilities include managing food and labor costs, ensuring safe food handling, and leading culinary operations to meet company objectives.

Requirements

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Extensive catering experience is a plus.
• Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations.
• Hands-on chef experience is a must.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends.
• Must be experienced with Microsoft Office and the Internet.
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily culinary production in meal preparation and food quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide direction on menu development and create distinctive specials.
• Monitor food freshness and maintain product consistency.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff.
• Participate in the development of business strategies aligned with client goals.
• Manage department controllable expenses including food cost and supplies.
• Analyze financial and operational information to adjust business plans.
• Create 100% resident satisfaction through team member training and resources.
• Establish performance goals and solicit employee feedback.
• Communicate performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback.
