About The Position

The Hilton Garden Inn, Fort Myers, FL at 12600 University Drive, Fort Myers is actively looking for an experienced, motivated candidate to lead our kitchen as the Executive Chef - Culinary Operations Manager. The Role at a Glance: E xecutive Chef - Culinary Operations Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn is responsible for managing all food and beverage operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. Supervises, directly and indirectly, all kitchen personnel, servers, bartenders, and banquet attendants. Manage all food and beverage and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards. Assure all food is of the highest standard, product is fresh, cooked to perfection and well presented. Provide an excellent level of internal and external customer service. Lead food and beverage team with emphasis on motivation and teamwork. Responsible for staff supervision, training, coaching, counseling, performance evaluation and recommendation of employment action as necessary. Oversee food preparation for banquets, including menu planning, portion control and plate presentation. Work scheduled shifts and cover open shifts as needed. Order supplies for kitchen, banquet, and bar food, paper supplies, liquor, beer, and wine. Maintain current food and beverage best practices. Maintain compliance with current health and safety standards and regulations. Assure sanitary preparation of food items, training staff in safe food handling, as required. Responsible for kitchen sanitation logs, use logs, and waste logs.

Requirements

  • Prior Kitchen management
