About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Culinary leader for The Pass in Union City, CA. This Executive Chef will be responsible for leading a team of culinarians in producing high quality, consistent, and appealing meals for a broad spectrum of customers in a unique environment.

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards.
  • A strong culinary background and Culinary Degree or Certification with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train a culinary staff.
  • Experience in high volume food production.
  • A focus on food safety/sanitation and physical safety.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Implements & coordinates the culinary function.
  • Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
  • Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
  • Manages catering & retail areas.
  • Customer & Client satisfaction.
  • Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
  • Manages food & physical safety programs.
