This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and compliance with healthcare standards with a strong focus on the patient dining experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly, bring innovative ideas, and possess extensive experience in catering. Requirements

• A strong culinary background with the ability to produce and present a high quality standard of food
• Menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
• Strong management skills and experience
• Proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused
• A proven ability to set up processes, create efficiencies, and solve problems with little to no direction
• ServSafe Certified with proven working knowledge of HAACP
• C.E.C. (Certified Executive Chef) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for the hospital
• Manage, direct, and mentor frontline staff
• Procurement and purchasing
• Create menus based on client needs
• Implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering, and patient services
• Create interpersonal relationships with clients
