SodexoMAGIC is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for Grambling State University in Grambling, LA. This position is integral to our culinary operations, focusing on delivering high-quality food services for resident dining and catering. The Executive Chef will typically work a mid or evening shift, starting between 10 AM and noon, and will have rotating days off, necessitating a flexible schedule. Reporting to the Executive Chef 3, this role requires a strong commitment to customer service and culinary excellence, ensuring that all food operations meet the high standards expected by our clients and customers. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This position demands a culinary management background, particularly in a large volume, quality-focused setting, ideally within a college or university environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and innovation, with a keen understanding of financials related to food and labor cost controls. Additionally, the Executive Chef will be expected to develop and train frontline employees, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork within the kitchen.
