Requirements

  • Hands‑On Culinary Expertise
  • Strong production cooking skills with the ability to lead by example in a fast‑paced café and catering environment.
  • Adaptability & Flexibility
  • Resource roles require stepping into different operations, supporting various teams, and adjusting quickly to new systems, expectations, and account cultures.
  • Catering Production Leadership Experience executing polished corporate catering—breakfasts, luncheons, executive meetings—while maintaining presentation and timing standards.
  • Menu Planning & Operational Knowledge Comfort with menu development, ordering, inventory control, recipe compliance, and maintaining consistent food quality.
  • Strong Communication & Client-Facing Skills Ability to interact professionally with clients, guests, and internal leadership while representing Sodexo in a polished, service‑focused manner.
  • Team Leadership & Training Ability to guide hourly staff, provide training, support consistency, and help reinforce standards across the culinary operation.
  • Food Safety & Sanitation Expertise Deep understanding of HACCP/ServSafe standards and the ability to maintain a safe and compliant kitchen at all times.
  • Professionalism & Reliability Resource roles demand strong time management, accountability, and a dependable presence—especially when covering for absent managers.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily café and catering operations
  • Lead culinary production with hands-on cooking
  • Assist with menu planning , ordering, and inventory management
  • Drive consistent recipe adherence and quality standards
  • Oversee catering production , including corporate events and executive meetings
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure an exceptional guest experience
