About The Position

Sodexo Corporate Services is offering an exciting opportunity for an Executive Chef 1 to lead a dynamic café and catering operation at Purdue Pharma in Wilson, NC. This is a multi-faceted food service environment featuring a café with 5 stations: Soup, Salad, Deli, Grill, Entrée, plus an Expo station for live cooking, and catering services for corporate events and meetings. The café operates from 7 AM to 2 PM for breakfast and lunch, with snacks and drinks available from 2 PM to 7 PM, and dinner service from 7 PM to 9 PM (Monday-Thursday). The role offers a unique schedule with no evenings or weekends, making it ideal for someone ready to step into a leadership role.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Menu planning and recipe adherence
• Ordering and inventory management
• Hands-on cooking (80% of your time)
• Catering production for daily and special events
• Managing a team of 6 cooks
• Collaborating on food and labor cost controls with the General Manager
• Driving quality, consistency, and innovation in every dish
