About The Position

Executive Chef 1 – Corporate Dining Location: Boehringer | Saint Joseph, MO | Salary 65K Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a hands‑on, creative, and people‑focused Executive Chef 1 to lead culinary operations across a multi‑site corporate dining program at Boehringer in Saint Joseph, MO. This role is perfect for a chef who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety, and loves shaping the guest experience through great food. Your primary focus will be café production and catering execution, ensuring quality, consistency, and smooth daily operations. Café Profiles Café P Busiest location Stations: Grill, Entrée, Deli, Salad Bar Serves ~140 guests daily (Breakfast & Lunch) Located near Café BAB Café BAB Stations: Salad Bar, Grill, Entrée Serves ~45 guests daily Open for lunch only (Tuesday–Thursday) ~0.5 miles from Café P Café PDW Stations: Grill, Entrée Serves ~35 guests daily (Breakfast & Lunch) Located ~7 miles from the other two cafés Very minimum time spent at this cafe Catering Program Primarily daytime corporate catering Includes coffee drop-offs, continental breakfasts, and lunch meetings Incentives M-F schedule 5am to 3pm, rare evenings, no weekends, 13 Paid Holidys, 3 Weeks Vacation pro-rated based on date of hire, and 6 sick days a year What You'll Do As the Executive Chef, you will: Lead and develop a team of 10 hourly culinary employees Work hands-on 80% of the time, setting the standard in the kitchen Oversee café production across multiple locations Drive catering production, from prep to presentation Ensure recipe compliance, training, and consistent execution Maintain high standards in food quality, safety, and sanitation Support menu development and enhance the overall guest experience This is an ideal role for a chef who enjoys leadership while staying close to the food.
