About The Position

The Executive Assistant to Police Command Staff plays a crucial role in providing high-level administrative support to the Police Chief and Deputy Police Chiefs. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for maintaining schedules, coordinating meetings, and ensuring effective communication within the department and with external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of work experience in a fast-paced, executive-level office environment.
  • Current Colorado driver's license with an acceptable record.
  • Candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail.
  • A collaborative and engaging personality with a strong strategic mindset.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple high-level tasks with routine interruptions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other common software programs is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in business administration, business management, office management, or a related field from an accredited college is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level customer service to the Police Chief and Deputy Police Chiefs, as well as internal and external customers.
  • Support the Chief of Police and Deputy Police Chiefs with travel arrangements, expense reconciliations, and general administrative tasks.
  • Maintain and coordinate the calendars and schedules of the Police Chief and Deputy Police Chiefs, including managing meeting requests and conflicts.
  • Act as a point of contact for office walk-ins and provide daily assistance to ensure the Police Chief and Deputy Police Chiefs are informed about the day's meetings.
