About The Position

Liberty Pathways Foundation is expanding statewide, and we are seeking a high-performing Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This is not a traditional administrative role. This position partners directly with executive leadership to drive organizational growth, secure funding, and expand employment opportunities for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, autism, and complex behavioral needs. If you are strategic, detail-driven, and experienced in executive support, grant writing, and government contract development, this is a unique opportunity to contribute at a leadership level. Strategic Executive Support Manage complex executive calendars and high-level scheduling. Coordinate travel and statewide meetings. Prepare board materials, executive presentations, and briefing documents Funding & Growth Development. Develop and support grant proposals and RFP submissions. Assist in securing contracts with city, county, state, and government agencies. Utilize AI tools to strengthen proposal development and competitive submissions. Support initiatives expanding employment and community programs. Executive Communication & Representation: Manage executive communications and correspondence. Serve as liaison to board members and senior leadership. Represent the executive professionally in meetings and stakeholder interaction. Administrative & Financial Oversight: Generate executive reports and expense documentation. Manage petty cash and office administration. Maintain strict confidentiality of executive and organizational data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years supporting C-suite or senior executives.
  • Strong background in grant writing and government contract development.
  • Experience in social services, healthcare, or community services.
  • Willingness to travel throughout California.
  • Exceptional organization and time management.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proposal and RFP development experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for professional writing and proposal drafting.
  • High discretion and executive-level professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

  • Experience supporting programs serving individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
