About The Position

JLM partners with several outstanding organizations across the DMV region, and our clients are actively hiring as we enter the new year. We are currently supporting a organization in its search for a highly experienced and proactive Executive Assistant. This hybrid position, based in the Washington, DC area, plays a pivotal role in supporting executive leadership, streamlining internal operations, and ensuring effective administrative operations at the highest levels. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team. You must be able to: Effectively demonstrate excellent judgement and time management skills Maintain confidentiality Have the ability to multi-task and be comfortable with changing priorities Be flexible and willing to work non-traditional hours periodically Have prior experience supporting C-Suite executives

Requirements

  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
  • Be able to think strategically and be pro-active in anticipation of challenges
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
  • Have a high level of self-awareness and adaptability
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience supporting C-Suite executives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgement, and a proactive mindset
  • Proficiency with various technology platforms including Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams, Google Workplace and project management tools
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, social media tools and cloud-based collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support
  • Have the ability to proactively manage priorities to optimize the CEO's time and focus
  • Serve as liaison between leadership and internal/external partners, ensuring seamless communication and alignment
  • Prepare and manage professional communications, reports and presentations to include but not limited to board decks, annual reports, newsletters, standard operating procedures, and strategic updates
  • Coordinate and support external engagements, speaking events and key partner interactions
  • Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel for staff
  • Conduct research in preparation for meetings as well as to support company initiatives and decision-making.
  • Serve as a point of contact for external vendors
  • Ensure tasks lists remain up to date and prioritized based on the CEO's needs and requests
