The electric grid is vital to our everyday lives, fundamental for the health, safety, and well-being of communities, and provides the platform for the economy and societal and technological advances. SERC's mission is to reduce risks to the reliability and security of the electric grid (also known as the bulk power system), for today and the future. To achieve this, SERC maintains a diverse team of experts and partners with individuals from the power industry and federal government. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for the President and CEO. This role also provides executive level support to the SERC Leadership Team and assists the Corporate Secretary with duties related to Board of Directors obligations. The Executive Assistant must exhibit good judgment, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. The position involves working independently on projects from conception to completion, and occasionally under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
