About The Position
The City of Oakland's Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) drives inclusive economic growth by supporting businesses, attracting investment, facilitating new development, creating jobs, and strengthening our cultural arts sector. As Executive Assistant to the EWDD Director, you will play a critical role in supporting high-level operations, project management, and communications. You will be a key partner to the Director and leadership team, helping the department meet ambitious goals: expanding small business services, advancing major development projects, strengthening workforce programs, and ensuring strong public communication and transparency.
