This is not a traditional administrative role. This person will act as the operational backbone for our CEO, ensuring their time is maximized and their initiatives are executed flawlessly.
Own the entire meeting lifecycle by proactively designing CEO’s calendar to protect focus time.
Prepare strategic one-page briefings for select external meetings.
Drive accountability by capturing and tracking all action items through to completion.
Act as CEO's communications hub, expertly triaging their inbox.
Draft clear and professional scheduling correspondence.
Escalate urgent matters to ensure nothing is missed.
Meticulously manage all coordination for critical stakeholders including investors, board members, and executive candidates.
Maintain clean distribution lists and track deadlines.
Plan and execute complex travel and multi-day schedules.
Build logical itineraries that maximize efficiency on the road.
Serve as a flexible team player by handling essential personal administration.
Contribute to broader organizational initiatives in areas like People Ops or office management as needs arise.
At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a C-level leader in a demanding, fast-paced environment such as a startup, VC/PE firm, or consulting.
Operate with complete discretion, confidently representing the executive in external communications.
Proactive, 'no job is too small' attitude.
A track record of producing zero-defect work with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong writing skills to draft crisp, professional emails and summaries that require little to no editing.
Build and improve repeatable systems (checklists, templates, SOPs) to drive efficiency.
Fluent in modern tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Asana/Notion).
Ability to work in-person from our New York City office 5 days a week.
$90,000-$110,000 compensation.
