Reporting directly to the CEO & President, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on administrative matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO. The Executive Assistant organizes and coordinates executive outreach, external relations outreach, internal engagement efforts on behalf of the CEO, and special projects. The Executive Assistant must be engaging, responsive, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with a tight team to execute key priorities of the Office of the CEO. The ideal candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, work at a fast pace balancing multiple priorities, and exercise sound judgment in a variety of situations. The candidate will be able to work independently on special projects, respond to time-sensitive requests, and handle a wide range of activities and confidential matters with discretion. The Executive Assistant will also interact with Year Up United students in a variety of ways as appropriate (i.e. a coach, facilitator, and advocate, participating in building a positive educational environment).
