About The Position

The Executive Assistant is responsible for performing confidential secretarial and administrative duties involving the exercise of independent judgment, for the Senior Vice President, directors and other office personnel. Key responsibilities include: Coordinate and organize the Senior Vice President’s activities within the company, the community and professional organizations. Perform other day-to-day activities including, but not limited to, travel arrangements, schedule coordination, preparation of presentations, expense accounts and personnel paperwork, typing, filing and paying departmental bills. Coordinate activities related to salary and personnel changes and performance appraisal interviews. Handle internal and external correspondence, distribute mail, make meeting and travel arrangements, and perform other administrative duties as assigned. Perform duties of TRIS administrator for applicable department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 or more years of high level administrative experience required.
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and software applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as TRIS and PeopleSoft, required.
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior management required.
  • Ability to work independently in a confidential manner and take a leadership role in various projects and activities also required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
