About The Position

The Office Manager and Senior Level Administrative Assistant at Thrivent is responsible for providing advanced secretarial and administrative support to Thrivent Bank executives. This role involves managing daily administrative functions, maintaining executive schedules, coordinating meetings and travel, and supporting employee engagement activities. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information while fostering relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of office manager and/or administrative/secretarial experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a financial or professional services environment.
  • Advanced business computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to write business correspondence clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while prioritizing effectively.
  • Good decision making, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
  • Interest in employee experience and office efficiencies with strong project management skills.

  • Vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes and coordinates executive schedules by arranging appointments and maintaining calendars.
  • Coordinates meetings, conferences, travel, and presentations while handling telephone calls and greeting visitors.
  • Designs, manages, and implements on-site employee engagement activities and wellness programs.
  • Prepares meeting agendas, maintains meeting notes, and arranges for implementation of action items.
  • Maintains strong business relationships with key stakeholders and coordinates daily office functions.
  • Assists the Chief Financial Officer with budgets for workplace programs and manages ongoing operating expenses.
  • Greets and assists visitors, coordinating visitor registrations and managing the visitor management system.
  • Coordinates onboarding, offboarding, and move processes for employees, and manages office opening/closing.
  • Partners with Corporate Safety & Security to address access and security issues.
