About The Position

The Executive Assistant position at Raytheon involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the Mechanical Engineering Tactical Radars team. Requirements

  • Typically requires an Associate's degree (or other 2-year post high school training) and 6 years of relevant Executive Administrative Assistant experience OR 8 years of relevant Executive Administrative Assistant experience with a High School Diploma.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Office365, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with web-based tools such as SAP/APEX and SharePoint.
  • Ability to identify problems, anticipate challenges, and mitigate corrective actions.
  • Handles confidential information with proper discretion.
  • Working knowledge of the Concur online expense reporting systems and company travel and expense policies.
  • Familiarity with ITAR restrictions as related to Defense Contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and prioritizing leadership calendars to minimize schedule conflicts.
  • Providing administrative support in a team environment, partnering with other administrative assistants for planning and coordination.
  • Planning and coordinating domestic/international travel.
  • Preparing and reconciling expense reports.
  • Drafting departmental and directorate correspondence.
  • Reserving and approving conference rooms.
  • Arranging business lunches.
  • Preparing security clearances and visitor requests.
  • Collaborating with the admin team to support directorate initiatives.
  • Working with Operations team and Talent Acquisition for onboarding of new hires.
