About The Position

As an Executive Assistant to the General Counsel at Genesys, you will be a trusted partner, managing their time, anticipating needs, and resolving issues proactively. This high-impact role requires strong judgment and discretion, as you will coordinate complex meetings across time zones and handle sensitive legal information. Your organizational skills will be crucial in keeping the Legal Organization on track and ensuring that the General Counsel's day runs smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of corporate experience as an Executive Assistant, supporting a senior executive or legal leader.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to reprioritize on the fly.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the General Counsel, including managing a complex and ever-changing calendar.
  • Anticipate the General Counsel's needs and proactively manage day-to-day priorities.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple assignments with minimal oversight.
  • Plan, organize and prepare for complex meetings, including communicating meeting details, arranging venues, and ensuring relevant materials are ready.
  • Assist with light project/process management, including onboarding for team members and team-wide activities.
  • Make global travel arrangements and prepare detailed itineraries.
  • Support expense reporting and monthly reconciliation of credit card statements.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects in support of the office of the General Counsel.
  • Track project progress and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Implement and interpret current administrative policies and procedures.
  • Partner and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve departmental goals.
