About The Position

Provides administrative support to the Head of Global Creative Strategy, Motion Pictures Marketing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in marketing, creative advertising and entertainment (agency, major film studio, production) preferred.
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, Liberal Arts, or TV/Radio/Film preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, articulating issues in a professional manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively & tactfully with managers & other levels of personnel.
  • Ability to prepare clear & concise reports etc. for presentation to senior management.
  • Excellent organizational & follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work well under time constraints.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains organized information, databases including files, registers, phone logs, manuals, complex artwork and a/v materials filing system, & workflow systems for executive.
  • Assists executive in location and coordination of delivery of materials throughout company and external parties to supply creative vendors, graphic designers, etc. to aid in development of marketing campaigns.
  • Assists and coordinates requests and information to and from international field offices regarding marketing issues and special events, including follow-up activities for all key event films.
  • Works with and assists Theatrical Marketing department in duplication and distribution of a/v and print materials.
  • Assists executive in all aspects of coordinating participation of company in annual trade shows and conventions.
  • Coordinates daily schedule of key activities including coordinating phone calls, setting up appointments, arranging meetings, & coordinating special events and projects for EVP, and Marketing department as needed.
  • Arranges for most time & cost efficient domestic and international business travel for executive.
  • Arranges & coordinates international & domestic conference calls as required.
  • Acts as liaison with other departments and/or outside organizations.
  • Notifies appropriate personnel on status of various projects.
  • Composes memos & correspondence representing executive to internal & external parties.
  • Performs general administrative duties, including typing, mail, photocopies, sending & receiving faxes, filing, etc. for executive, and the Marketing department as needed.
  • Prepare, process, and reconcile expense reports for executive, including credit card statements and out-of-pocket expenses.
