About The Position

Responsibilities include overall support to a Vice-President or Chairman as related to day-to-day operations of the department or office. Coordinates the administrative activities for the clinical, administrative, and academic department or departments for which the VP or Chair is responsible. Responsibilities As the Executive Assistant, you will serve as an integral member of the medical school’s Graduate Medical Education (GME) team supporting the Dean for GME at one of the largest accredited sponsors of residency and fellowship programs nationwide. Organize and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conferences for the Dean for Graduate Medical Education. Organize and coordinate committee activities including management of agenda, development of minutes, AV needs, communications, and reporting. Support for GME events including coordination, communications, and on-site oversight. Oversee broader office needs including requests for verification of training

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and maintain confidentiality with a broad range of leaders across the health system.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize and independently manage multiple tasks and projects with careful attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to formulate practical solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent combination of education and/or experience considered.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience, preferably in an academic setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic graphic design experience is a plus.
