About The Position

Amazon is seeking a dedicated, self-driven Executive Assistant with strong communication skills to support Directors within the Global Tax Services team. The position is located in our Seattle office, supports multiple execs within a global department, and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization. You must be a detail oriented, experienced planner, with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively, efficiently, and with little direction while maintaining flexibility and composure. You will have an ability to proactively anticipate needs, and can complete complex tasks quickly, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require quick turnaround, and can take effective action without having to know the whole picture. You will have experience with calendar management, domestic and international travel coordination, event planning, along with large internal team and leadership meeting coordination. This role requires exceptional planning, time management, and a passion for organization. High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests across global teams is critical. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism dealing with senior executives is expected of this role. This role requires five (5) days a week in office.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience with executive level calendar management

Responsibilities

  • Management of complex calendar and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations and time zones
  • Set up internal and external meetings including conference rooms, AV needs
  • Manage domestic and international travel
  • Manage expense report creation and submission
  • Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on key action items in a timely manner
  • Act as a liaison for direct reports
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with a variety of groups including peers, internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Management of team space, including moves and reconfigurations
  • Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting, and other Executive Assistants to provide holistic support to the organization
  • Document writing, editing, and readiness
  • Have fun at work and help others do the same
