About The Position

Cisco is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Executive Vice President of the Common Hardware Group and the Chief of Staff office. This role involves managing the EVP's calendar, organizing meetings, coordinating travel, and handling confidential matters, all while demonstrating high-level organizational skills and independent judgment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in an administrative environment, with at least 2 years supporting at the SVP level or above.
  • Expert level knowledge of Windows desktop applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in calendar management, meeting planning, and travel coordination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to connect with all levels of staff and clients.
  • High competency in navigating web and email.

Responsibilities

  • Manage EVP's calendar and daily schedule, prioritizing conflicting meeting requests and ensuring completion of action items.
  • Coordinate event speaking engagements and work with the communications team to prepare content for the EVP.
  • Assist in planning and organizing meetings, including agenda preparation and logistics.
  • Create travel packs for international trips, combining event information and logistics.
  • Act as a proxy for communications and approvals for the EVP, resolving issues and mentoring administrative staff.
  • Handle global travel arrangements and manage Cisco expenses for the EVP.
  • Provide analytical support for special projects, including research and report preparation.
  • Maintain confidentiality while dealing with critical matters.
