About The Position

Akura Medical is seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented professional to serve as a hybrid executive assistant, office manager, and marketing support resource. This is a unique, high-impact role that sits at the center of the company’s day-to-day operations and commercial momentum. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to keep the organization running smoothly, ensure tight follow-through, and provide hands-on support for commercial and marketing activities, including tradeshows, customer meetings, and internal coordination. This is an on-site role and is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an executive assistant, office manager, operations, or marketing support role
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a startup, medical device, life sciences, or healthcare company
  • Exposure to marketing, events, or commercial operations
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, CRM or project-tracking tools

Responsibilities

  • Track action items, follow-ups, and commitments to ensure timely execution
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and basic presentations as needed
  • Coordinate travel, itineraries, and logistics for leadership and commercial activities
  • Serve as a trusted gatekeeper and organizational partner to the CEO
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a professional, well-run environment
  • Coordinate office vendors, supplies, and basic facilities needs
  • Support onboarding logistics for new hires and visiting partners
  • Act as a central point of coordination for internal communication and logistics
  • Assist with planning and execution of tradeshows, conferences, and commercial events
  • Booth logistics, materials, shipping, schedules, and on-site coordination
  • Support marketing initiatives such as: Coordinating collateral, swag, and demo materials Managing timelines and deliverables with internal and external partners
  • Help track commercial activities, customer follow-ups, and sales support needs
  • Provide ad hoc support to marketing leadership as Akura scales its go-to-market efforts
