About The Position

We are looking for an experienced, tenacious, and proactive Executive Assistant 2 to support our EVP, Chief Supply Chain Officer. This position interacts with areas across Nordstrom and leadership within Operations to provide comprehensive administrative support. You will manage complex scheduling and travel, coordinate cross-functional team meetings, prepare presentations and documentation for team events, support in-office needs, track key initiatives, and ensure seamless execution of all other administrative needs in the Supply Chain Organization. A day in the life… Responsible for supporting calendar management; proactively prioritize, prepare for, coordinate and communicate meetings and events. Take clear, concise notes in key meetings as needed and ensure timely documentation, distribution, and follow-up. Schedule and plan dynamic activities (meetings, presentations, events, etc.) across multiple teams using creative formats (including virtual events); coordinate with other Executive Assistants across Nordstrom and external vendors (e.g., catering/food services) as needed. Partner with Chief of Staff and to ensure consistency across decks, and executive communications Coordinate and schedule complex travel plans including itinerary creation and adjustments as needed. Assist in managing the Supply Chain budget, ensuring timely and accurate expense reconciliation and invoice processing. Set up and regularly review operating practices and procedures; determine whether improvements can be made and work with management to implement changes as appropriate. Partner with Facilities and other teams to support office needs and maintain an efficient, well-functioning work environment. Actively lead and support special projects that are assigned. Requirements

  • 5+ years of administrative experience supporting senior level executives.
  • Proven ability to anticipate and proactively address the needs of executive leaders.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with partners, peers and leaders and easily work across a wide variety of work styles.
  • Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, ability to multi-task, delegate, and manage shifting priorities.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word).
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate with discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail, supply chain, or operations environments is a plus.
