About The Position
The Vice President/Director of Financial Markets Execution and eSales at ING will lead a newly formed centralized multi-asset and multi-client sales team covering the Americas region. This role is pivotal in servicing the needs of ING's clients with a variety of financial products and services, including FX, commodities, interest rate derivatives, corporate/government bonds, and repo. The Execution Sales team is responsible for supporting daily flow trading activities and plays a vital role in the wider Financial Markets sales strategy. The selected candidate will report jointly to the regional heads of Corporate and Institutional Sales and will have the opportunity to shape the Execution Sales Desk's operations, including product coverage and staffing, in collaboration with various stakeholders. In this position, the Vice President/Director will also serve as the New York-based point person for eSales, working closely with cross-asset class platforms to understand ING's electronic workflows and contribute to the bank's digitalization strategy. Daily responsibilities will include managing the existing team of sales professionals, covering targeted clients, and ensuring seamless client coverage across products and sectors. The role requires a collaborative approach, engaging with junior sales talent to foster their development and promote ING's e-Trading capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales acumen, a passion for helping others succeed, and the ability to navigate a complex and changing environment.
