The Advanced Common Products (ACP) product area within Naval Power is seeking an Execution Director to drive execution to meet current customer commitments and capacity expansion. The Execution Director will be responsible for optimizing performance and execution for all ACP related development, transition to production, and production activities. The Execution Director is a critical focal point in integrating and de-conflicting complex schedules across a challenging spectrum of customers and suppliers and leading the execution of the strategic road map, which includes both customer and internal investments. The ACP portfolio currently serves three Raytheon Strategic Business Units (SBUs) across six programs. Ultra electronics are used in two munitions acceleration programs that will require more than a 4x increase in output to meet the demands. This position will play a key role in driving execution to meet capacity increases for Ultra. This position will be located at our Tucson, AZ facility. Relocation assistance is NOT currently available.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience
  • Prior experience in program management, production, or capacity expansion.
  • Proven expertise in EVMS, Integrated Master Schedules, and Risk and Opportunity Management.
  • Prior experience building and leading high performing teams.
  • Prior experience working in cross functional matrix environment (ex: Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.)
  • Prior experience working with and supporting customers internally and externally to drive outcomes.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Security Clearance Type: Secret - Current Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Responsibilities

  • Program planning, program execution, product costing, problem resolution and decision making, R&O management, financial execution to budget, staffing, personnel development, product technical roadmap, and customer relationship
  • Ensure performance to technical, cost, schedule, and quality requirements
  • Drive affordability and continuous improvement using Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE), RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM), and RTX Team Fundamentals.
  • Ability to collaborate across Raytheon SBUs and functional teams
  • Establish and maintain an integrated execution schedule for all work including the increase of capacity needed to meet munitions acceleration activities
  • Develop relationships with the various functions and internal customers to manage and prioritize the work that is being executed.
  • Execute daily program cadence i.e. daily build stand-ups, risk review boards, customer reviews, failure review boards, program milestones, line of balance and working mitigation(s) and decision reviews to achieve customer commitments.
  • Manages the program risk and opportunity, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed to coordinate with internal teams, customers and our suppliers
