Provides advanced administrative and professional support to the Vice President of Privacy and Compliance (VP). This role requires a high level of clerical, organizational, and administrative expertise, along with extensive working knowledge of the UF Health system, executive offices, and departments reporting to the VP. The position exercises significant independent judgment and discretion when communicating with UF Health executives, Health Science Center leadership, physicians, and staff. Responsibilities include planning, initiating, and implementing administrative activities, as well as applying problem-solving techniques to manage complex tasks. Maintains close working relationships with UF Health administrators, physicians, and hospital directors. Manages confidential and sensitive matters across multiple lines of interaction, including UF Health entities, community hospitals, government agencies, employees, and patients. Work is performed under minimal supervision and is carried through to completion independently, with regular updates provided to the VP regarding project status and outcomes.
