About The Position

The Exchange Parts Coordinator at Okuma America Corporation provides support to Okuma’s Distribution network for exchange orders. This role will support both Board Repair and Mechanical exchange divisions as well as Service Parts team. This involves processing requests for repair/replacement of refurbished mechanical and electrical units. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience, procurement role or related technical experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Suite experience.
  • Microsoft D365 System Experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Board Repair and Mechanical exchange divisions to find solutions for expedite order requests.
  • Provide updates to distribution in a timely manner regarding Exchange lead times, part shortages, and delays.
  • Plan and organize exchange order backlog by negotiating with distribution.
  • Review BOMs to validate exchange units to each machine and update relevant reports.
  • Create and organize Expedited order report and communicate to OCJ or other suppliers to maintain up to date deliveries.
  • Explore repair options for exchange units via outside/external facilities as needed.
  • Create new exchange part numbers, set stocking levels based on usage and identify units not included in the exchange program.
  • Support day to day parts coordinator activities as they relate to exchange items/issues.
  • Continually identify and implement process and procedure improvements.
  • Adheres to all company employment policies and safe practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and explores opportunities to add value.
