About The Position

The purpose of this position is to plan, organize, and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development. The teacher will manage instructional time, student behavior, and instructional presentation, while also monitoring student performance and providing feedback. The role includes facilitating instruction, interacting within the educational environment, and performing non-instructional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in education or a related area qualifying for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
• Ability to use various classroom tools and equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in both oral and written forms.
• Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to solve problems and interpret technical instructions.
• Ability to maintain order and discipline in a classroom.

• Experience in managing classroom environments effectively.

• Ability to perform general clerical duties and maintain essential files and records.
