Job Description: Date Posted: 11/19/2025 Location: Progressive Education Program Date Available: 12/01/2025 Closing Date: 12/03/2025   Additional Information: Show/Hide Hours per Day: 7 hours Months of Employment: 10 Position Type: Continuing Level of Benefits: Full benefits Pay Range: $18.06 - $23.25 (Salary range includes the 10.77 percent local supplement and is based on state service) Minimum Degree Level: Associates Degree or 48 Credit Hours at an institution of higher education Additional Position Comments: At Progressive Education Program, our assistants are valued members of a collaborative team working with students in high-needs classrooms. We recognize the challenges that come with supporting students who require additional care and to ensure success in the role we support our assistants by providing: Structured coaching and mentoring from experienced educators Ongoing feedback and professional development opportunities Collaboration with teachers, specialists, and administrators Guidance in classroom management and instructional strategies A team-based approach to managing high-needs classrooms Regular check-ins to ensure staff feel supported and confident in their role
