About The Position
Excelligence is seeking a highly skilled Manager of Fulfillment Technology to oversee the selection, implementation, and management of our fulfillment technologies. This role is critical in ensuring that our order fulfillment processes operate smoothly, efficiently, and are continuously optimized for performance. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of both technological and operational aspects of order fulfillment, which is essential for maintaining the high standards of service that our customers expect. This position is designated as 100% on-site at our Distribution Center in Gardner, KS, emphasizing the importance of hands-on management and direct oversight of our fulfillment operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the selection, implementation, and management of various fulfillment technologies, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order picking robots, and conveyor systems. You will ensure that these technologies are not only implemented effectively but also maintained and upgraded regularly to sustain optimal performance. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve analyzing data generated throughout the fulfillment process to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. By utilizing data-driven insights, you will implement process improvements and optimize workflows to enhance overall operational efficiency. Collaboration is key in this position. You will work closely with warehouse operations teams to understand their challenges and ensure that the technologies implemented meet their needs. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT teams to ensure technical integration and support, as well as maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to stay updated on the latest technology trends and solutions. Project management will also be a crucial aspect of your role, as you will lead and manage technology-related projects within the fulfillment center, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Furthermore, you will provide training and support to warehouse staff on the use of fulfillment technologies, developing and implementing standard operating procedures for technology usage and maintenance.
