About The Position

MJ Excavating is a well-established fast growing excavating contractor looking for highly qualified and motivated individuals to join our field excavating crews across the United States. MJ Excavating specializes in a wide variety of civil services for transmission lines, substations, and solar farms. These include access roads, mass grading, underground duct bank, and grillage foundations.

Requirements

• Experience in excavating and/or electric powerline industry.
• Willingness to travel for work assignments.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• GPS grade control experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• IBEW membership or willingness to become a member.

Responsibilities

• Join field excavating crews across various locations in the United States.
• Perform excavation tasks related to civil services for transmission lines, substations, and solar farms.
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and dozers as required.

Benefits

• Pay rate will depend on Local Union scale and experience.
