About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate excavators to perform various tasks such as digging, trenching, and loading materials. Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment. Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and operational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor tasks.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators to perform various tasks such as digging, trenching, and loading materials.
