Responsibilities

Equipment Operation: Safely and skillfully operate excavators to perform excavation, digging, trenching, and grading tasks as required by project plans and specifications.
Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself and your team at all times.
Maintenance: Conduct routine equipment maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, and reporting any equipment issues to the maintenance department.
Efficiency: Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency while operating excavators, contributing to project timelines and goals.
Quality Control: Ensure the quality of excavation work meets project standards and specifications.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate excavation activities and ensure project success.
Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors, reporting progress, challenges, and equipment issues as necessary.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about and adhere to all relevant regulations, safety guidelines, and industry best practices.
Problem Solving: Identify and address any operational challenges or issues that may arise during excavation work.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily equipment inspection reports and work logs.
