This position is responsible for the administration and documentation of certifications/assessments and will work closely with the Testing Center Manager/Director to maintain currency (certified proctor) in skills and procedures for potential and enrolled college students utilizing approved assessment instruments and standardized procedures, and for high stakes workforce certification exams according to required protocols and guidelines. Major Responsibilities: Manage and approve CNA appointments, reserve lab and computer spaces, coordinate with nursing staff, skills proctors, and high schools for written and skills testing. Arrange residents for skills testing, travel to high schools/nursing facilities to administer written exams and oversee community day testing logistics. Create, enter, and maintain testing schedules, paperwork, and records across software, calendars, and websites; scan, upload, and file required documents. Ensure labs are stocked with necessary supplies, order replacements, and provide proctors with all required paperwork and materials. Find and schedule an individual to be the resident for skills testing or fulfill the role as the resident for skills testing Provide certification, assessment, and distance education exam administration according to designated proctor policies and procedures. Complete all required high stakes exam proctor training and stay current with exam protocol changes. Provide limited hardware and software troubleshooting, including calls to testing technical support services when problems arise. Maintain accurate records of all assessment services provided and supply this information to appropriate college offices on a timely basis. Adjust testing procedures for individuals according to documentation provided by the Director Disability Services prior to testing sessions. Assist with scheduling center activity. Respond to customer queries. Promote, demonstrate, and maintain a professional manner and appearance. Assist in keeping the assessment and certifications centers organized, clean, supplied, and well maintained when on campus. Other related or appropriate duties as required. Schedule: Scheduling is based on Testing Center appointments and student need. This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with this position may be assigned.
