About The Position

GC AI is looking for a former founder to help build the next generation of AI-powered products for knowledge and communication. As one of our earliest technical hires, you’ll own massive parts of the product from how users interact with AI, to how we scale our platform globally. You’ll work directly with the founders to prototype, ship, and iterate new capabilities that redefine how people collaborate with intelligent systems. This is a role for a true builder, someone who’s just as comfortable writing production code as they are debating product direction, experimenting with user growth loops, and helping shape the company from the ground up. If you’ve started something before, love moving fast, and want to be part of a small, elite team building world-class AI experiences, this is your chance to do it again, with more leverage.

Requirements

  • You’ve been a founder who’s taken a product from idea to launch to iteration.
  • Prior experience working with early-stage startups and small technical teams.
  • Strong fluency in TypeScript and React.
  • Demonstrated ability to move fast without sacrificing craft or stability.
  • Strong ownership mindset: you identify problems, propose solutions, and ship.
  • Curiosity about AI and eagerness to explore how it changes product design and user behavior.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or scaling AI-powered products.
  • Familiarity with growth engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Build, design, develop, and ship end-to-end features in TypeScript and React.
  • Think like a founder: help shape roadmap, architecture, and culture while staying hands-on with code.
  • Collaborate directly with design and growth to move fast on user feedback and iterate quickly.
  • Prototype new AI experiences, test them with users, and scale what sticks.
  • Establish engineering best practices and guide early technical hires.
